The Muppet Theater is the starting stage for the My Muppets Show application. There are numerous trash hazards to be cleared on the theater floor, the stage, and the two raised stage platforms. Statler and Waldorf appear in a theater box on the right-hand side of the stage (where they normally are on the show) and occasionally comment on the goals and achievements Scooter has set out for you to accomplish.
Muppets, decorations, and devices can be placed on the floor and on all of the levels of the stage. Muppets do not usually need to be placed close to their likes to benefit from them, so feel free to place things however you like! Some achievements however do require a muppet to be situated close to their decorations (e.g. Kermit and his rainbow set piece and banjo for "What's on the Other Side").
The Muppet Theater can hold a maximum of five concession stands, but food and gold collected in the Theater are available for use on later stages such as the Kitchen.
Occasionally, members of the audience will throw roses onto the stage. Collecting the roses gives you Muppet gold coins to use in the market. This also happens in the kitchen. You can also collect roses when visiting friends' Muppet stages, including the Muppet Theater.
The Muppet Theater decorations include: the Amp, Electric Mayhem Sign, Swampy Banjo Stand, Rainbow Setpiece, Miniature Amp, Vanity, Microphone, Podium, Bubble Machine, Fog Machine, Presidential Pennant, Extra Drums, Floor Lights, Candelabra, Cannon, Reception Desk, and Bust of Beethoven. The Muppet Theater decorations open up from levels 1-15, so if you can't buy a Muppet's likes at one level, just keep working on earning XP until you are able to get what you're looking for.
For the Muppet Theater set design, there are three backdrops and three lighting design options. The backdrops are: The Backwall, the starting design, is a wall with posters on it; the Muppet Arches, which can be purchased with gold, are the arches from the theme song; and, the Muppet Mural, which costs 10 diamonds, is a piece of art. The three lighting designs are: the Follow-Spot Free-For-All, the starting design, is one spotlight; the Light Show-Off, which can be purchased for Muppet gold, is a light show; and Laserification, which can be purchased for 10 diamonds, is lasers.
